  • Q&W
    Question:
When writing, are the pen strokes loud?
    Answer:
Just as load as a pencil on paper I would say. I will say that the texture does a number on the pencil nibs. They will wear down quickly.

    Question:
Does it reduce the brightness on the iPad? Is it too grainy?
    Answer:
brightness reduction is not that much and barely noticeable if not at all (I only noticed it when I removed the cover and saw the screen after a while from using the product) although it could be from the grainy texture it gives, and for the grain I would say yes for the closest 30cm (1ft) to the screen; if you sit at a comfortable distance it won't bother you (you would still notice something different).

    Question:
Does it fit iPad Air 4th 2020
    Answer:
Yes, it does reduce the brightness by a bit. It wasn’t too much of a bother for me. I still watch TV and movies and such with no issue. The matte surface is gives very much improves the iPad, in my opinion.

    Question:
It's a certainly little grainy, but the brightness is not effected as it's clear. I love mine!
    Answer:
    No and no it’s awesome!

    Question:
I am a bit worried about the apple pencil wearing down faster. My primary use of the ipad pro is note-taking.
    Answer:
I'm using it for digital art. Several times a week, with often hours on end using it for drawing, painting, etc. After about 2-1/2 months, my pencil tip finally wore down. This is designed to happen though for the Apple Pencil tips, hence why they have a replacement. You'll probably see a slight difference in wear/tear on the tip versus on the glass screen, but eventually the tip will wear down. I can say I used my Pencil more than someone using it for taking notes, as drawing/painting is a more intense use of the Pencil by comparison. But I'm not upset by it, and it took almost two months for me to notice any difference in the tip at all. So, if you're going to be doing a fair amount of art/creation on your iPad with your Apple Pencil, just plan on having replacement tips. And you can try adjusting the pressure curve in your various drawing apps too (like Procreate). Just part of the investment!
